Purchase volume generated by private label store credit cards totaled $193.45 billion in 2020, down 5.3%. This compares to a 9.0% decline in purchase volume on American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa general purpose credit cards, which totaled $3.611 trillion in 2020.
