Below is a list of 51 acquisitions and investments (seed, venture, and corporate rounds as well as an IPO) that occurred in 14 countries in March 2020. The top deals involved credit cards— the takeover of State Farm’s portfolio in the U.S. by U.S. Bank and the IPO for State Bank of India’s cards and payment services business on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The U.S. led with 21 transactions, followed by Europe with 17, Asia-Pacific with 12, and Latin America with 1.
