Asia-Pacific General Purpose Cards — 2019

Credit, debit, and prepaid cards issued in the Asia–Pacific region with UnionPay, Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club brands generated $17.988 trillion in purchase volume for goods and services in 2019, an increase of 6.8% over 2018. Total volume—the combination of purchase volume with cash advances and cash withdrawals—reached $19.365 trillion, up 4.8%.
