Asia–Pacific General Purpose Cards — 2014

Global brand credit, debit, and prepaid general purpose cards ­— UnionPay, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club — issued in the Asia–Pacific region totaled 6.24 billion at year-end 2014, up 15.8% over 2013. UnionPay was  the region’s top brand with 4.94 billion cards, up 17.1%. This included cards co-branded with Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and American Express.
