Tabbed has secured $1.7 million in pre-seed funding to bring a patent-pending app to market that uses geofencing to allow diners to automatically pay for meals without signing a check when they exit a restaurant. The Tabbed app will rely on a registered user’s mobile phone GPS capabilities.
