Ingenico Expands Merchant Services

Bambora, provider of in-store, mobile, and online services to 110,000 merchants in 70 countries, will be acquired by Ingenico for $1.74 billion (€1.50 bil.) in cash and debt. Private equity firm Nordic Capital is the seller. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2017. In the first half of 2017, Ingenico also acquired TechProcess Payment Services in India and SST, the payments business of Bancomzvjakok (BKC) in Ukraine. Bambora, which is headquartered in Sweden, handled $64 billion (€55 bil.) in payments in 2016, generating gross revenue of $234.3 million (€202 mil.). The ...
