Lawyers representing plaintiffs and defendants filed arguments in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, in favor of overturning or retaining a $7.25 billion settlement of class action litigation that pitted Visa, MasterCard, and 12 credit card issuers against U.S. merchants.
