Network International Expands in Africa with DPO Deal

DPO Group, a payment service provider (PSP) in Africa to more than 60,000 active merchants, has been purchased by multinational merchant processor Network International for $228 million in cash and $63 million in stock. Apis Growth Fund I was the majority owner of DPO. The founders of the company owned a majority of the remaining equity. Network International Holdings shares trade on the London Stock Exchange.
