Blackhawk Network (BHN), a top provider of prepaid cards worldwide, is committed to using sustainable, fiber-based substrates in cards it distributes to reduce the deleterious environmental impact of virgin PVC plastic. By the end of 2024, more than 85% of the approximately one billion cards BHN distributed globally used fiber-based substrates. BHN calls its sustainable card product Renovo.
