Top 150 Credit Card Portfolios Worldwide — 2020

Credit card outstandings tied to Visa, UnionPay, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club and domestic- market-only cards from the 150 largest card issuers as of December 31, 2020, are listed on page 6. Issuers from China held a 41.2% market share among the largest portfolios, followed by issuers from the U.S. with a 36.2% share. By region, Asia-Pacific led with outstandings of $1.092 trillion.
