The 50 largest issuers of general purpose cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, UnionPay, JCB, and Maestro as well as domestic general purpose credit, debit, and prepaid consumer and commercial cards) in the Middle East and Africa region in 2015 represented 44 countries.
