Purchase volume on U.S. general purpose credit and debit (including prepaid) cards for the first nine months of 2015 was up 7.5% over the first nine months of 2014. Credit card purchase volume grew by 7.6% (an increase of $147.56 billion). Debit card purchase volume grew by 7.4% (an increase of $99.96 billion).
