Visa Europe Annual Results — 2015

Visa Europe will operate autonomously from U.S.-based Visa Inc. until completion of a takeover by the global network in the third quarter of Visa Europe’s 2016 fiscal year. Until then, Visa Europe continues to be owned by 3,033 banks and payment providers in 38 countries in Europe. It had revenue growth of 25% to $2.61 billion (€2.31 billion) for its fiscal year ended June 30, 2015. Members had issued 522.6 million Visa cards by June 30, 2015, up 12 million over the same time one year before.
