For the first nine months of 2025, debit, credit and prepaid cards in circulation worldwide with Visa and Mastercard brands generated $17.136 trillion in purchase volume.
The largest deals were the $190-million investment in Dojo, a UK-based processor with 140,000 customers, and Flatpay in Denmark, which provides POS terminals, processing support and a payment gateway.
