Fraud and chargeback prevention specialist Accertify has been in business since 2008. The company, which was acquired by private equity firm Accel-KKR earlier this year, had been owned by American Express since 2010. Accertify will remain a partner with American Express. When Accel-KKR purchased Accertify, it retained control over technologies and products and services of InAuth, which were integrated into Accertify by American Express in 2016.
