Adyen Launches Android POS Devices

Amsterdam-based Adyen, Europe’s seventh largest merchant acquirer, will soon begin marketing two mobile point-of-sale devices. Both were designed in-house and operate on the Adyen platform. AMS1 is an all-in-one Android 10-based terminal equipped with a 4-inch touchscreen that promises a battery life of approximately one business day. Wireless connection options include 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
