Affirm Adds Fiserv for Debit Buy Now, Pay Later

Financial institutions connected to Fiserv’s EPOC debit card processing platform will be able to embed Affirm’s buy now, pay later (BNPL) services in the mobile apps they offer their cardholders. Affirm announced a similar deal with FIS in February 2025. Fiserv, Visa DPS and FIS are the top three third-party processors in the US for Visa and Mastercard debit cards. There are other US companies that use EPOC and other Fiserv platforms to resell debit card processing services to community banks and credit unions.
