Blackhawk Network Expands Private Label Prepaid

Blackhawk Network, a top distributor of prepaid cards and other products, has paid approximately $175 million to acquire CashStar, which provides digital and plastic prepaid card and related services. CashStar’s platform supports eight currencies. Its merchant clients own more than 400 brands in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia.
