Recently launched Visa Flexible Credential (VFC) enables cardholders to use their issuer’s app to designate certain types of purchases to be handled as either debit, credit, buy now, pay later (BNPL) or pay with rewards points. This selection process is superior to having to carry a physical wallet containing multiple cards for use in specific payment situations.
