Middle East and Africa’s Largest Merchant Acquirers — 2023

The 36 largest merchant acquirers in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region based on the number of purchase transactions initiated by Visa and Mastercard cards processed in 2023 are ranked on page 13. Those acquirers accepted 8.30 billion Visa and Mastercard transactions, up 15.0% over 2022. Those transactions came from 1,416,051 active merchant outlets. The purchase volume was $341.81 billion.
