Mollie Gets $800 million to Expand Beyond Europe

Payment service provider Mollie has been supporting online merchants in the Netherlands since 2004. It moved to Belgium in 2016 and this year the company expanded into Germany, France and the U.K. The company is adding more than 500 merchants a day. Mollie processed $11.80 billion (€10 billion) for its more than 120,000 small business customers last year and it expects to double that volume this year.
