Pax has launched the M30, a POS device for small merchants that is intended to handle payments alongside ecommerce transactions and customer inquiries. The handheld device is equipped with a standard 5.5-inch phone screen on the front for merchants as well as an EMV and PCI 6 certified PIN pad and 240x240 display on the back for customers. The M30 is designed for use by retailers, restaurants, transportation operators and delivery services. Pax expects the M30 to be popular in developing markets.
