PeerTransfer Cross-Border Payments

International students pay $53 billion annually in tuition, room and board, and other fees to colleges and universities outside their home countries. PeerTransfer processed $1.05 billion of those payments last year including $450 million from China, mostly to schools in the U.S. The company’s cross-border payment platform handles 65 currencies and allows students to make payments in their own currency using bank transfers, credit cards, wire transfers, ewallets, and online banking.
