Private equity firm GTCR will acquire Sage Payment Solutions (SPS) for $260 million. SPS provides merchant acquiring in the United States and Canada including processing for payment card, ACH, check, private label, and loyalty cards. It has a client base of approximately 100,000 small and midsized clients with a focus on healthcare providers, nonprofit and faith-based organizations, and accounting software companies.
