There are no standards for software-based PIN entry on touchscreens. However, payment processor Cuscal, the largest operator of POS terminals in Australia, is conducting a proof-of-concept test of so-called PIN on Glass on up to 5,000 tablet and smartphone devices linked to payment facilitator Square.
