Top U.S. Credit Card Issuers — 2015

General purpose cards issued in the U.S. are those with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover brands. Figures listed on pages 8 and 9 include all general purpose consumer and commercial credit and charge card products. Outstanding receivables (including securitizations) tied to these cards totaled $800.87 billion at December 31, 2015, up 4.7% from $765.20 billion at December 31, 2014.
