US Debit Card Issuers — Part 2

The second 50 largest issuers of debit and prepaid consumer and commercial card products (those that ranked 51st to 100th) generated $151.96 billion in purchase volume in 2021, up 9.2% from 2020. That purchase volume is a combination of Mastercard and Visa networks and PIN-based networks led by Star, Pulse, Nyce and Accel. Mastercard and Visa signature-based volume generated 67.31% of total debit card purchase volume for these issuers. PIN-based debit networks accounted for 28.06%.
