Visa and Mastercard Commercial Bank Cards in the U.S. in 2020 — Part 2

Visa and Mastercard brand commercial cards issued in the U.S. generated $1.033 trillion in purchase volume in 2020, a decline of 3.4% from the prior year. As a percentage of combined consumer and commercial card purchase volume generated by all cards issued in the U.S., commercial card products equaled 17.47% of $5.915 trillion, down from 18.67% in 2019. Credit card spending tied to small business, corporate T&E and purchasing/fleet products totaled $724.28 billion in purchase volume in 2020.
