Visa to Acquire Pismo

Brazil-based banking and payment software provider Pismo will be acquired by Visa for $1 billion in cash. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2023.
Pismo received $118 million in two rounds of funding (2016 and 2021) from investors including Accel Partners, Amazon and Softbank.
