Commercial Bank Cards in the U.S. in 2019 — Part 2

Purchase volume generated by Mastercard and Visa brand commercial cards issued in the U.S. reached $1.089 trillion last year, up 10.8% over 2018. This was the first year commercial card purchase volume topped the $1-trillion mark. Commercial card products accounted for 19.00% of combined U.S. consumer and commercial card purchase volume of $5.732 trillion, up from 18.68% in 2018. Small business, corporate T&E, and purchasing/fleet credit products generated $799.97 billion in purchase volume last year.
