Global Brand Card Transactions Projected Worldwide

UnionPay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover and Diners Club cards are projected to generate 1.109 trillion purchase transactions in 2029, an increase of 42.9% over 2024. This includes consumer and commercial credit, debit and prepaid cards. These global brand cards are projected to generate 332.64 billion more purchase transactions in 2029 than they did in 2024.
