Nexi Group, which provides debit and credit card account processing and related value-added support services in 27 countries in Europe, is rolling out consumer and commercial credit, debit and prepaid card product expertise, developed in its home country of Italy, to the rest of Europe. In Italy, Nexi issues Mastercard and Visa payment cards under an e-money license granted by the Bank of Italy. It provides smaller banks the opportunity to be a co-issuer of credit card products.
