Top 50 US Visa and Mastercard Credit Card Issuers – 2024

The 50 largest issuers of consumer, small business and commercial credit card products carrying the Visa and Mastercard brands owned $968.02 billion in outstanding receivables at year-end 2024, up 6.2% from year-end 2023. The US industry total for Visa and Mastercard outstandings was $1.073 trillion, up 8.6%. Among the 50 largest issuers, a total of 15 portfolios had year-over-year (YoY) growth in outstandings that topped the Visa and Mastercard industry average of 8.6%.
