The 50 largest issuers of credit, debit, and prepaid consumer and commercial general purpose cards in the Middle East and Africa region in 2016 represented 46 countries. General purpose card brands are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, UnionPay, JCB, and Maestro as well as domestic-market-only cards.
