Private equity firm Advent International has sold two of the three processing businesses it owned in Argentina to Visa. Prisma Medios de Pago is a card issuing platform, and Newpay provides account-to-account, ATM and bill payment processing. Terms of the transaction were not announced. The deal is expected to close this quarter. Advent purchased 51% of Prisma in 2019 from Visa and Argentine bank owners for $700 million.
