Amazon and Western Union (WU) are partners in a cash-only payment service aimed at providing greater access to online goods for consumers who have no access to cross-border ecommerce shopping due to lack of an international payment card or an alternative online method. Consumers in Kenya, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand can pay for goods available at Amazon.com in local currency at a local Western Union agent location.
