Storefront locations owned by Western Union as well as more than 7,600 Walgreens and Duane Reade stores in the U.S. now offer iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users the opportunity to fund a Western Union money transfer or bill payment from their Apple Pay wallet. Apple Pay transactions occur at POS terminals with NFC-enabled contactless chip readers and are secured using TouchID, a mathematical representation of a user’s fingerprint.
