Worldpay Promotes Mastercard’s Pay By Bank App

By the end of 2019, approximately 10 million of the 60 million consumer current accounts in the U.K. will have access to the Pay By Bank app, a mobile commerce payment service owned and operated by Mastercard’s Vocalink subsidiary. So far, Barclays, HSBC, and First Direct have committed to Pay By Bank, which enables consumers to push a payment from their bank account to a merchant’s deposit account.
