Blackhawk Network has launched eGift Card Links, which allows users to send eGift cards by supplying recipients with a short link sent via text, email, or any social messaging app. The link comes from the purchaser rather than an anonymous URL or SMS code, and the sender is notified that their gift has been received. Cards can be redeemed instantly. Senders do not need to know an email address. The feature is currently available to US customers through more than 400 BHN partners with plans to expand internationally in 2025.
