Cash App Targets Gen Z Spending with Payment Wand

Cash App is adding a proprietary line of near field communication (NFC) accessories linked to its Cash App Visa Card. The first Cash App Tags device is a wand. Cash App and Square are business units of parent company Block. The wand is designed to be kept in the open. It can be clipped to clothing or backpacks, making it distinct from payment cards designed to be put away in a wallet or pocket. The device costs $25 and targets Gen Z consumers.
