Numarqe sees opportunities in Europe to provide credit cards to midmarket businesses, which it defines as companies with annual revenue of more than $50 million and up to 500 employees. It estimates that midmarket companies in the UK spend $265 billion annually and similarly sized companies in the European Union spend $2.900 trillion annually. In Numarqe’s estimation, there are several problems with products available from legacy corporate card issuers: credit limits are not high enough nor flexible enough to cover spending requirements; they fail to provide the multicurrency card accounts ...
