Second 50 U.S. Mastercard and Visa Credit Cards

The second 50 largest issuers (those ranked 51-100) of consumer and commercial credit cards carrying the Mastercard and Visa brands held $11.73 billion in outstanding receivables at year-end 2021. This was up 7.8% from year-end 2020. Among the second 50 largest were 32 credit unions. For those issuers, outstandings were a collective $7.18 billion, up 2.4% from year-end 2020.
