Visa Europe Annual Results

Visa Europe, the payment business owned by more than 3,000 banks and payment providers in 37 countries in Europe, had revenue growth of 8.7% to $2.50 billion (€1.86 billion) for its fiscal year ended September 30, 2014. It was the company’s best year ever. Pre-tax operating profit of $460.0 million (€341.7 million) was up 31.5%. The company retained $295.9 million (€219.8 million) to maintain its liquidity and Basel III capital requirements.
