Card Fraud Losses Worldwide

Global brand, domestic-market-only and private label credit, debit and prepaid cards generated purchase volume (spending for goods and services), cash advances (against lines of credit) and cash withdrawals (from cardholder funds on deposit) that reached $49.149 trillion worldwide in 2022. The total volume figure was $48.908 trillion in 2021.
