Fiserv Expands ATM and Debit Business

The third-party ATM and debit card account processing businesses owned by U.S. Bancorp will be sold to Fiserv for approximately $690 million. The sale includes MoneyPass, the second-largest surcharge-free ATM network in the U.S., which links 33,000 ATMs. Those businesses operate under the Elan Financial Services name. Collectively, they earn $170 million in annual revenue. A consumer and commercial credit card issuing business, which also operates under the Elan Financial name, is not part of this deal.
